About
Hi there! I'm Tirzah Harper, owner and operator of Sylvan Leash, offering personalized pet sitting services in your home in Sarasota, FL. With 30+ years of pet parent experience, I know how hard it can be to be to leave your best friends at home. That's why I work to make your time away from your pet(s) a walk in the park!

As a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I've cared for all kinds of critters - from ones that burrow and climb to those that fly and swim. I'm currently a pet parent to two senior dogs, two spunky guinea pigs, and one sassy bearded dragon.

In addition, I'm a member of Pet Sitters International - the leading educational organization for professional pet sitters. Services
General services and starting prices for each service are listed below.

Prices for clients with multiple pets, pets with special needs, and/or unique types of pets (e.g. exotics) are prorated from the starting prices listed below, according to the number of pets as well as the needs of each pet.
Short Stay
starting at $60/night

I'll stay overnight at your home and care for your pets like they are my own. Includes a light cleaning following my stay so you can relax when you return home.
Daily Drop-In
starting at $20/day
​
I'll perk up your pet for up to 90 minutes with a potty break, meal, or other light care. Heavier care, such as a full enclosure cleanings, can be added for an additional fee.
Pop-Up Playdate
as low as $8/hour*
​
Playdates are perfect for pets with separation anxiety or special needs who cannot be left alone during the day while you're away.​​

Wellness Walk
$20/walk

If your pet needs to add a little more movement to their regular routine, this walk will keep them active for 45-60 minutes - weather permitting of course!
Sylvan Leash acknowledges that each pet, pet parent, and situation is unique.
Sylvan Leash works to customize and prorate services to meet the needs, preferences, and circumstances for each client whenever possible.

Before a client's first service with Sylvan Leash, a face-to-face "Meet & Greet" session is required.
